Thankful Tree 2013 . . . in January
So, I'm a little behind this year with our Thankful Tree . . . and with a lot of other things, but what else is new?! Again, not as many leaves on it as what I would have liked, but we definitely did the best that we could! We have so much to be thankful for and if Mommy was on top of her game, this tree would be FULL of leaves. Thank you, Lord, for blessing us in so many ways. Even though this tree doesn't adequately show it, we are THANKFUL!

A lot of snow sure makes for fun days of playing outside! The kids are having a blast with Peyton and Jack, Judy's granddaughter and grandson that are here from NC for her funeral. (Judy passed away on January 8.)
Karys Joins In!
We have already had an incredibly amount of snow this year and my oldest 3 kids have been playing outside a LOT. It has also been a cold winter so I haven't hard Karys outside much at all. Today the temperature was in the 30s and Karys decided not to take a morning nap so I thought it was a good day to introduce her to the snow!! She tolerated it . . she didn't show too much emotion either way, but I think she liked it! The kids loved pulling her around in the sled. Samuel made sure she had a taste of snow, too!
