Outdoor Fun With the Family

Today was a perfect day to be outside! Everyone came to our house and we went over to Hillside Middle School for some sledding and snowmen building!

Our Family Christmas

We had a lovely family Christmas at home this year . . . my brothers are in town so we decided to not go to Canada. We made Gingerbread Houses together as a family on the 24th and then we opened gifts when we woke up on Christmas morning. The kids each picked a siblings' name this year and got them a little special something. It was fun to see their excitement at giving something that they knew their sibling would like. The "zoo" themed gifts were from the cousins on Daryl's side of the family. "Zoo Animals" was the theme this year for the cousins. Then we got each of the kids a special gift. It was a wonderful Christmas morning together! :)
