Swimming Lesson and Van Buren State Park {Day 1}

Hope and Samuel completed (and passed!) Level 1 swimming lessons today with Shelley Deleeuw. They did a great job! After swimming lessons, we headed out to Van Buren State Park for a weekend of camping with our friends from Indianapolis (Matt and Heidi Pierce and Albert and Julie Brashear). This year is a little different because Mom, Dad, Ben, Anna, and Grace are also camping with us! We are on loop 1 right across the street from the bathrooms. A good place to be with a lot of little ones!

Today we went blueberry picking! I had a lot of eager helpers - to pick, to wash, and to eat!

Eric and Rose Thayer's Wedding

My cousin Eric got married today! It was an outdoor wedding right on Lake Michigan - absolutely beautiful. It was an extra bonus that Ben and Anna and Grace are visiting right now so they could be at the wedding as well. Our kids weren't invited so Daryl stayed home with the kids. He's such a good husband and daddy. Congratulations, Eric & Rose!
