Every day I see you stepping more and more into the "big brother" role - and you are so good at it! You love your sisters and you love teaching them, watching out for them, and taking care of them. It makes Mommy so happy to watch you love on your sisters in this way. You became a big brother all of a sudden at 18 months and then again at 22 months and again at 4 1/2 years old. It's a lot for a little guy to adapt and adjust to but I know that God knew what He was doing when he gave us you and then 3 little girls. He knew that you would be a perfect big brother for them.
Tonight you were Mommy's big helper and went grocery shopping with me. On the way home you got a special treat, a little bag of chocolate covered mini pretzels. There were probably 10 of them in the bag. You gobbled down all of them but two and then told me before we got home that you had saved the last two for Hope and Aliyah. By the time we got home the girls were all ready for bed and had already brushed their teeth. You were disappointed to discover this but you were okay with setting the pretzels on the counter and letting the girls wait until the morning to eat them, but only after you made sure that they wouldn't melt overnight. Thank you for being such a great big brother to your sisters. You have a heart full of kindness and love and protection for them and I pray that that love and kindness and desire to protect them and watch out for them only continues to grow stronger and deeper.
Mommy loves you buddy! I am so thankful that God gave you to me. You are my special and favorite little boy. :)
